These terms cover your use of the Stick Pick app and the optional Stick Pick Sync subscription. Using the app means you accept them.The appStick Pick is a paid app for teachers, bought once from the App Store. The core of it — classes, random student selection, assessment records, small groups — works on your device, offline, with no account and no subscription.Stick Pick SyncStick Pick Sync is an optional subscription. It backs your classroom data up to your account and keeps it in step across your devices. It does not unlock any feature that already worked without it.
Prices, plans, and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy, and come from the App Store.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation.
The subscription renews automatically unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
Stick Pick Sync is an auto-renewing subscription, available as a monthly or an annual plan. The current prices and any free trial are shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy. Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If a free trial is offered and you buy before it ends, the unused part of the trial is forfeited.
If you bought Stick Pick before version 2.0, sync is included at no extra cost. Sign in and it is granted to your account automatically — you will not be asked to subscribe.
If your subscription lapsesSyncing stops. Nothing is deleted: the classes and students on your device stay on your device and the app keeps working, and the copy on our servers is kept so that resubscribing picks up where you left off. You can delete that copy at any time from Settings.RefundsPurchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are Apple's to give. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something has gone wrong, email us first — [email protected] — we would rather fix it.Your responsibilities
Keep access to your email account secure — that is how you sign in.
Follow whatever rules your school or district has about recording student information. You know them; we don't.
Don't try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
BackupsStick Pick Sync is a convenience, not a guarantee. Keep your own records of anything you cannot afford to lose. The app can export a backup file at any time from Settings, and doing so occasionally is a good habit.Availability and changesWe may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. If we discontinue sync, we will give reasonable notice in the app and time to export your data.LiabilityThe app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data beyond what a reasonable backup on your part would have prevented. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
